DVI Out
This scene as originally written featured more dialog between Gemma and Postie regarding what’s been going on in the house over the past weeks. I was describing the scene to Trent while finalising the dialog in preparation for drawing, and he suddenly came up with the idea of the hardware disconnection notification message.
I loved it immediately, but then we argued for about half an hour about how we should do the bubble. Trent wanted a more geek-focused error message, complaining about device drivers not being found, whereas I advocated a more general approach as you see here, in the hopes that it might appeal to geek and non-geek alike.
