My favourite thing about WordPress and the ComicPress plugin we use is that the comic is configured as a blog with images as the main content. Spam bots can’t seem to tell that this is the case, and I end up with random comments like:
“Hi, good post. I have been wondering about this issue,so thanks for posting. I’ll definitely be coming back to your site.”
and…
“Thanks for posting, I really enjoyed reading your latest post. I think you should post more often, you obviously have talent for blogging!”
Silly spammers. Anyway, as an update, I reported in #43 that I had 249 spam messages, that number has grown to 773 in slightly over 3 months.
