The script for this strip was originally written to be an exchange between Trent and Postie, and it wasn’t due to be released for some time yet. However, flexibility is the key, and in this case I could easily adapt the situation to accomodate Postie’s absence. The final result actually works better between Trent and Simon imho.

The other option was some sort of Wrath of the Lich King reference, since everyone seems to be playing it at the moment. (Not me! wow free for almost 2 years now yay hehehehe). However, I’ve never wanted this comic to be about gaming or gaming culture, since there are so many other comics out there doing the same thing but much better. Plus, I’d much prefer it if everyone can get my jokes and laugh at my humour rather than the select few who’ve played the game of the moment. My one concession so far is the single mention of wow in the first strip, as a catalyst for getting this comic started in the first place.
