Negotiations
Those you paying attention may have noticed that the teaser panel I put up last night as the second panel is actually the full strip’s first panel. This is a good example of the last minute rewrites I sometimes do. I decided that the first panel was really just a waste of space, I present the dialog for that frame here:
Postie: Are we in agreement?
Simon: Yes.
Biff: Yeah, sure.
While it does set the scene, it doesn’t really generate interest or start the story moving, and it’s not until you read the next panel where Postie talks legal crap that you get any decent idea of what’s going on. On reflection I decided to go straight into the legal crap, and use biff’s line about him losing his hair as the reveal for his condition.
