The Other White Meat
When Mountaineer and I brainstormed the structure of this strip, we never intended there to be a lead up strip to this one. The previous strip was a last minute replacement for this one as I didn’t have the time to draw this one last week. Of course when I decided it would be awesome to do some lighting effects in the previous one I didn’t realise the impact it would have on this strip.
In order to maintain consistency I had to keep up the lack of light and add a portable lantern for Biff. Of course, this type of light casts many shadows, and necessitated many layers of lighting effects for it to even look halfway decent.
All of this doesn’t come without a cost. This strip probably took the longest of any single strip thus far, at approximately 20 hours, a number which I don’t intend to repeat any time soon. phew!
