Well, not only is this strip not a few days late, it’s early! Holy crap! Well, it helps alot when I’ve got a really well defined idea worked out for a strip. If you recall, I mentioned this little plot arc involving beer in the comments for Strip #28, which was November last year. At the time I was planning to have it occur sooner, but all the craziness involving the hole in the floor took over and it got pushed back.
Something I forgot to mention in the comments last week. The beer pouring incident depicted happened in real life. I bought a mini keg, failed miserably at pouring beers from it, other housemates swoop in to show off their manly beer pouring prowess, only to fail miserably as well. Gemma walks in, puts us all in our place with an awesome pour and gets a huge kick out of it. I then use this to my advantage and get her to pour me many subsequent perfect beers. Everyone wins!
